William Vaughn
Born in the heart of Dixie and raised on sweet tea and biscuits, William Vaughn left Bogart, GA to pursue his dream of pretending to be other people at New York University (Playwrights Horizons Theater School & the Experimental Theater Wing). He’s about to graduate in May and is pretty excited to, how does one say, “fuck some shit up.” While in school he studied under members of Witness Relocation, The TEAM, and Theater Mitu while occasionally getting to perform with the always daring 600 Highwaymen. Favorite past roles include Ariel in Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman, Lawrence in Lanford Wilson’s Home Free! and Claude in Tennessee Williams’s Green Eyes. He has been involved in developing a great deal of new work including Reporting Live by Michael Finke, Burning Barn by AP Andrews, The Altruist by TJ Edwards, We Are All in Paradise directed by Lear Debessonet with music by Todd Almond, and We Bury Our Own by James Simmons. He has played the role of Boris Simeonov-Pishchik in The Cherry Orchard at the 14th Street Y and is a featured performer as part of The Odyssey Project.
Niall Powderly
Originally from St. Louis, Mo. Niall Powderly grew up in the desolate wild lands of Dublin, Ireland. He returned to the country of his birth to study theatre at NYU (Stella Adler, Classical Studio, and Stonestreet Studio).
Also graduating in May, Niall is excited but unlike William more likely just to “fuck up” rather than “fuck some shit up.” That being said he has focused his time at NYU on doing classical text (mainly Shakespeare) and film work as well as writing poetry because why not. Favourite roles include Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night as Perriwinkle in Odso by Jenn Tash. He has been involved in several new works as well as student films.
